TUTTINSIEME WORKSHOPS

Music Therapy and Music-motricity  – Enchantment

CAT has been involved in this sector since 2003, in collaboration with CRED Ausilioteca (Centre for Educational and Didactic Resources) in Florence City Council. The project is aimed at classes where there are disabled students and its objective is to facilitate, by means of workshop activities, relational processes, integration and socialisation in the school setting, as well as improving levels of personal independence in the students themselves.

The CAT programme is divided into two different types of workshops that both have music as the common denominator. In fact, music, in the learning phase, is often a game and it is essential to play with sounds and with rhythm in order to compare their communication values:

In Canto: an educational programme through song that brings the student closer to his/her own unique and personal instrument, the voice.

The Music Therapy and Music-motricity  Workshop: aimed at introducing children and teenagers to the world of music and the sense of rhythm through play and musical improvisation.
