The Insider project is part of the low-threshold intervention and harm reduction system and it acts as eyewitness of the conditions of people with no fixed abode in the Florence area. The project allows us to have a precise and up-to-date view of the difficult situations and needs faced by people living on the streets, especially in relation to healthcare, both physical and mental. In particular, the Insider project is a service that responds to crisis and/or emergency situations, working in collaboration with social services and the network of homeless shelters located in the area.
