Our Immigration and Humanitarian reception Section focuses on services for foreign citizens, provides information and guidance in the field of immigration and asylum regulations, linguistic-cultural mediation, interpreting and translation, reception facilities and socio-cultural integration paths. In recent years, CAT has taken part in extensive integration programmes which were implemented all over Italy to tackle the humanitarian emergency. In line with other activities, services and projects implemented over the years, CAT plays a central role on the territory in all sectors of intervention involving third-country nationals. It has developed projects aimed at a notion of integration that is not only practical – i.e., documents, health care, housing and work -, but also (and above all) social and cultural by fighting discrimination and exploitation of all types.
